Overview
Grenada’s financial year runs from 1 July to 30 June.
Grenada operates on a cash basis and appropriations lapse on 30 June each year.
The 2020-21 Budget was brought down on 4 June 2020 by the Hon Martin Hunt MP, Minister for Finance.
The 2020-21 Budget recognised expected revenues of $210.5 million and expenditure of $210.4 million with a small surplus balance.
Supplementary appropriation bills are passed by Parliament through the year to update revenue estimates and expenditure appropriations.
Quarterly budget performance reports are produced to track expenditure and revenue performance through the year.
